This graph came out before anyone was really sure how atypicals worked, and showed why there was considerable confusion. Unlike the conventional antipsychotics like Haldol, the atypicals had affinities to a wide range of receptors, as many as eight distinctly different receptors. No one knew what role, if any, these receptors palyed in schizophrenia.
